The Green and Gold teams marched into the theater for their Song and Cheer. When rope burning finished our boys headed back to their bunks to get an early night sleep. Because it has been such a dry summer the wood that both teams collected was super fuel for their fires, and both ropes burned in record time! Getting fully soaked with water before the start of Rope BurningĪt Rope Burning the entire boys’ camp gathered to watch as our Hut 6 campers raced to see which team could build a fire and burn a rope suspended 12 feet in the air. It was a ton of fun, and a great effort by both teams. For the relay, every single boy was involved in a massive relay race that involved activities like canoeing from one side of the lake to the other, successfully hitting a bullseye in Archery, kicking a soccer goal from mid-field, and serving and returning a volleyball four times without the ball touching the ground. These are two of our classic special events dating back to the founding of our overnight camp. While our girls were practicing Kenwood’s Maroon and Grey teams were running their Apache Relay and Rope Burning evenst. RELATED: Quite possibly the greatest Color War Breakout ever! They both sounded confident, melodious and excited for tonight’s big event. I was fortunate to have some time to watch both teams in their final practices. Immediately after dinner they began practicing the four songs that their coaches had written for them: an Evergreen Fight song, a Cheer about their team, a Comic that lampooned the funniest moments of the summer, and an Alma Matter expressing their love for their camp sisterhood. RELATED: Why Capture the Flag is one of our campers’ favorite gamesĪfterwards, both teams dried off and prepared for tonight’s final color war event: Song and Cheer. All afternoon Phyllis, Jacki, Deena and the other judges were on the docks judging while our girls swam their hardest. After four days of battling it out on our ball fields and courts, the girls ended their regular activities with their annual swim meet. Chant-to-Green and Bornstellar settled on a distant world without the comforts of advanced technology, with Chant eventually giving birth to a son.Today was a big day for the color war in each of our camps. With their work finished, the remaining Forerunners embarked on a "Great Journey", exiling themselves outside the Milky Way galaxy. Over a century later, Chant accompanied the IsoDidact and a number of other Forerunners on their successful mission to restore the Domain at Maethrillian after the expedition, Chant and Bornstellar reconciled their relationship and were married. In the early days of the reintroduction, Chant-to-Green engaged in a brief sexual relationship with Bornstellar, partly to soothe their shared grief over the loss of the Librarian though this liaison did not last long, the two would remain on good terms. She accompanied the IsoDidact on Earth during the reintroduction and shared a few last words with Riser. She and the IsoDidact observed the festivities from some distance away, both acknowledging the significance of Bornstellar's human friends. At Riser's suggestion, Chant-to-Green and several other Forerunners joined a human celebration for the transition the galaxy now faced. She was present in the trial of Mendicant Bias for its betrayal of the ecumene. Having reached Installation 00 in time, Chant survived the activation of the Halo Array. The Librarian then sent Chant away and gave over the title of Lifeshaper to her. Soon after the Librarian's arrival, Flood forces - including Precursor star roads - were detected in the system. After Chant had finished her work, the Librarian traveled to Earth with the intent to draw the Flood there to give the IsoDidact enough time to fire the Halo Array. She was only able to gather a few hundred, as most of Earth's human population had already been indexed earlier. After the destruction of the greater Ark and the Ur-Didact's composition of Omega Halo's human population, the Librarian ordered her to go to Earth and gather and preserve as many humans as possible and send them to the lesser Ark. In the last days of the Forerunner-Flood war, she and her keyship were hidden somewhere on the far side of the Flood-infested region of the galaxy. For the next centuries, she continued to serve as part of the Librarian's core Lifeworker team along with fellow Audacity crew member Birth-to-Light. Chant-to-Green accompanied the Librarian on the Forerunner expedition to Path Kethona around 950 years before the activation of the Halo Array as the youngest member of the Audacity.

According to the driving mode, the ball valve is divided into: pneumatic ball valve, electric ball valve, manual ball valve. JFlow Control’s one piece carbon and stainless steel ball valves are durable and have no leakage paths through the body. This type of valve should generally be installed horizontally in the pipeline. The multi-way ball valve on the pipeline can not only flexibly control the confluence, divergence, and flow direction switching of the medium, but also close any channel to connect the other two channels. It can, nevertheless, be customized to suit some cryogenic functions as well. This is supported by an anti-static and anti-blow-out stem design. “I saw the shooting on the news and my first reaction wasn’t one of shock and horror. It was a sign of the strength and resolve of a youth movement that has risen from the shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Feb. They stood in silence for 17 minutes - one for each person killed at the Florida high school - before turning their attention to legislators and leaders to demand gun law reform. They gathered on football fields, capitol building steps and in the streets, joining hands and holding protest signs. O n the one-month anniversary of the Parkland, Florida, school shooting, almost 1 million students from kindergarten to 12th grade participated in more than 3,000 walk-out events across the country. They will be doing so again on March 24 in what is expected to be In a competition of enthusiasm, the room offered a deafening roar at times as Sanders’ cheering section screamed, “Feel the Bern,” and blew into yellow vuvuzelas and air horns while Clinton’s backers chanted, “HRC,” and waved neon blue glow sticks.Students calling for gun law reforms protested at the state capital on March 14. The Nevada culinary union, which backed Obama in 2008, is not expected to endorse a candidate before the caucuses, putting the support of about 60,000 workers up for grabs. Reid is not the only powerful figure expected to stay on the sidelines in the Democratic campaign. Republicans sought to tie Clinton to Reid, calling him the “face of Washington dysfunction.” Michael Short, a spokesman for the Republican National Committee, said that “while Nevadans and the rest of the country want to turn the page on the Reid-Obama era, Hillary Clinton is promising an encore.” “No state reflects the growing diversity of our nation better than Nevada,” Reid said, before joining hands with the three Democratic candidates on stage. Obama won the state in both 20 but it was fiercely contested in both campaigns. Reid has sought to give his home state even greater prominence, noting its growing Hispanic population and role as a competitive state in recent presidential elections. Nevada’s increasingly greater profile in the presidential sweepstakes has been promoted by Senate Democratic leader Harry Reid, who has remained neutral in the 2016 race but has encouraged an active caucus campaign. Sanders said the only way Democrats would win elections was through generating enthusiasm and a massive voter turnout.
